Root Canal Sydney

Tooth pulp can be damaged from injury or extensive decay. This damage limits the supply of blood to the pulp causing an infection that results in an abscess and tooth pain. If no treatment is carried out the infection tends to spread via the root canal into the bone and surrounding tissue.

Root canal treaments are spread over three appointments. In the first appointment we remove the infected pulp and clean the canals. In the next appointment the root canals are further cleaned to ensure all the damaged pulp is removed. In the final appointment, the root canals are filled permantently.
